Candle Safety and Tips for Better Burn!

CANDLES ARE for FUN, but PLEASE BURN RESPONSIBLY!
Always keep out of reach of Children & Pets
Never leave unattended
*Electric Grubby Candles: Keep out of direct sunlight. Never leave any electrical appliance unattended. With Q-Tip, apply scented oil to inside of candle shell to refresh, if needed.
*Votives: Remove any fabric tied to wicks before lighting. Keep wicks trimmed to 1/4 inch. These will burn longer if placed in a snug fitting, glass container while burning. Votives should always be burned in a tight fitting votive holder as this will give an even melt pool across and down the cup. This will eliminate any wasting of wax and a cleaner, better burning candle!
*Container Candles: Remove any non-wax items on top or tied to wick before lighting. Keep away from flammable objects and drafts while burning. Initial burn should be 1 hour for every diameter of candle to create a 'memory". This will ensure max wax usage and better burn. Example: 4" across top of candle=4 hours burn time. Remember to keep those wicks trimmed to 1/4"!
*Gel Candles: These may resemble food products but are not edible. All safety warnings from above apply to these as well. Keep wick centered & trimmed to 1/4” to prevent smoking. Burn on stable, heat resistant plate to catch drips. Keep away from drafts & flammable materials. Do not burn longer then 3 hours at a time. If flame gets too large, extinguish & trim. Do not let wick trimmings fall into melt pool. Discontinue use when only 1/2” of gel remains in bottom.
*Tart Melts: Just pop into your tart warmer to melt. Can be reused numerous times. When cool, just pop out.
*Soy Tart Melts: Same as above, except place in freezer for 10 mins. before removing.

Allergy Warning
Please be aware that we put a lot of scent in our Candles, Tarts and Bowl Fillers! Some scents can cause allergic reactions in people who are sensitive to fragrances. If this is the case, please let us know. We’ll be happy to put less scent in or even make your items unscented!
Just because you have allergies doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy candles~get them UNSCENTED!
